
Benchmarking and International Research Collaboration: Politeknik Indonusa Surakarta Strengthens Strategic Cooperation with UNIKL MFI Malaysia
Malaysia, June 23, 2025 – In an effort to expand its international network and improve the quality of higher education, Politeknik Indonusa Surakarta conducted benchmarking and collaboration strengthening activities with Universiti Kuala Lumpur Malaysia France Institute (UNIKL MFI), which has been ongoing since 2017.
The visit was led by A. Anditha Sari, Head of International Affairs accompanied by a delegation of lecturers from the Engineering and Pharmacy study programs.
The group was officially welcomed at a warm lunch reception by UNIKL MFI officials, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Norazwani Muhammad Zain as Deputy Dean, along with Puan Rozniza from the International Cooperation Division and Wildanul, a representative from the Technoputra Unit.
The main agenda of the visit included benchmarking the curriculum and engineering laboratory facilities at UNIKL MFI, as well as strategic discussions on joint research and scientific publications between Engineering lecturers from Politeknik Indonusa and UNIKL MFI.
“This activity is a concrete step to accelerate campus internationalization and increase the research and publication capacity of lecturers,” said A. Anditha Sari. “We are optimistic that this collaboration will open up broad opportunities for academic development for both parties.”
UNIKL MFI welcomed the initiative from Politeknik Indonusa and expressed its commitment to follow up on the cooperation through a memorandum of understanding and a more in-depth technical agenda in the near future.
This visit is part of Politeknik Indonusa Surakarta’s long-term efforts to build its global reputation and strengthen its academic network in the Southeast Asian region.
