Politeknik Indonusa Surakarta benchmarks MSU Malaysia in coordination of cooperation implementation
In order to strengthen international networks and improve the quality of higher education based on global collaboration, Indonusa Polytechnic Surakarta paid an official visit to Management and Science University (MSU), Malaysia. The visit took place in mid-June 2025 and was led by A. Anditha Sari as Head of International Affairs, accompanied by lecturers from the Engineering and Pharmacy Study Program.
The Indonusa Polytechnic delegation was officially welcomed by Mr. Nizam, Head of Global Collaboration at MSU, and Mr. Ghofur, representing the institution. The meeting took place in a warm and collaborative atmosphere, marking the seriousness of both parties in opening up broader opportunities for cooperation.
The primary objective of this visit was to conduct benchmarking on academic management and international collaboration development following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in 2022 between Politeknik Indonusa Surakarta and MSU University. In the MoU, both institutions agreed to collaborate in the fields of joint research and publication, visiting lecturer programmes, and joint degree programme development.
MSU University is currently ranked 597th in the World University Ranking, making it one of Politeknik Indonusa’s strategic partners in its efforts to promote the internationalisation of vocational education. This collaboration is expected to have a positive impact on improving academic quality, strengthening lecturer capabilities, and opening up international access for students.
This visit is a concrete step by Politeknik Indonusa Surakarta in realising its vision as a leading and competitive vocational education institution at the global level.
