INTERNATIONAL SUMMER SEMESTER PROGRAM AT RAJAMANGALA UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY KRUNG THEP - THAILAND

Politeknik Indonusa Surakarta delegated two students from Hospitality Study Program and Automotive Engineering Technology Study Program to participate in the Summer Semester Program at Rajamangala University of Technology Krung Thep, Thailand. This program was held over one month, from November 15th, 2024, to December 13th, 2024. Hospitality Study Program was delegated by Nur Eko Lestari, while Automotive Engineering Technology Study Program was delegated by Ataula Zalifuna Ramadhan.

During the Summer Program, students took 4 main courses, which are Entrepreneurship, Research Methodology, Thai Culture & Language, and Recreation Management. Lecturing was conducted in some interactive methods, including presentation, focus group discussion, field study, and case study report. Besides, students had opportunities to experience Thai tourism and culture by exploring downtown Bangkok City. This program was closed by Cultural Night. All participants were required to wear their traditional costumes and perform cultural attractions. The Summer Semester Program is expected to build academic competencies, introduce cross-cultural experience, and strengthen international collaborations.
